As our sailing season gets ever closer, it's great to have four of our five Sonars back in the water. This season we'll be using four of our Sonars; Mirage, Echo, Mandeville, and Tantrum with Dorsal remaining ashore.
This year the Sonars have brand new sails supplied by our neighbours at Onesails, and the boats all feature newly fitted roller reefing for the Jib sails. Echo had her mast stepped today in what could be described as challenging windy conditions! Both safety boats, Points East, and EAST Support have been launched.
We will shortly be starting our shakedown sessions which allow us to identify any problems and rectify them prior to our first sailing sessions on 2nd and 3rd May at 14:30.
