Wed 8th MAY
The afternoon session was, quite literally, a washout and had to be cancelled, but those brave souls who turned out for the evening session were rewarded with a sprightly sail and Mother Nature put on a spectacular display.
No Photoshop was used in the creation of this stunning photo taken by our very own "David Bailey" , Mike Peacey from the EAST support RIB this evening.
A candidate for the EAST Calendar, if there was one, perhaps if you guys can match this with another 11 equally captivating shots, we can make it a reality.
The EAST session at 1800 on Weds. 8th May. The storm blew up just after we launched but we missed the worst of it by heading towards Felixstowe. It got very windy for a while but with one reef in we were ok. Let's hope weather improves soon! Mike Peacey
