Supermarket giant backs sailing charity

A leading supermarket chain has announced that staff at one of its Suffolk stores will be giving a year’s worth of fundraising support to the East Anglian Sailing Trust.
Sainsbury’s Warren Heath will be helping the charity, which provides sailing opportunities to disabled and visually impaired people.
The store on the outskirts of Ipswich has had great success in supporting charities and last year raised £10,000 for the East Anglia’s Children’s Hospice.
Bill Smith, from East Anglian Sailing Trust, said the charity was thrilled to be chosen.
He said: “We hope the partnership will help raise awareness of our cause to the store’s customers and will help us develop the important service we provide to the community”.
